Here's a quick hello from Nicole.
We have had a fantastic time in Ithaca, staying with new friends Janice, Cathy, and dog Charlie, who all treated us royally, and we will miss very much. Last night was an adventure night, unexpectedly staying at an old community house and spending the evening with the fun and generous Anna & Zarin, who took pity on us and made sure we had a warm place to sleep, great southern food, and good conversation.
We're thrilled to have Justin Kinghan cycling with us now, for the last few weeks of the trip. I have requested that he complain more about being saddle sore and how tough the cycling is - so far he's adapted far to quickly.
Today has been another cold one, with 30% chance of snow expected. It's about 8 deg now, mid afternoon, so we're pretty focused on cycling hard and stopping for hot drinks when we can. Even Marty's wearing gloves while cycling, so you know it really is cold.
We have decided since we're ahead of schedule, to circle out east to Boston, Cape Cod, Rhode Island, and Connetticut, and into New York City from there. That is if the weather is a bit kinder to us. Big hello to everyone, and thanks for all your emails and comments, we love them!

ReplyDeleteYou'll be in a nice warm office soon enough, wishing you were out cycling in the cold. Sorry our NY connections didn't come through, but I do have some good friends in western Mass that would put you up, and maybe some in eastern Conn...

Pat Metheny did a jazz record " As Falls Wichita, So Falls Wichita Falls" Not Ithaca I realise, but thats just a small detail. I saw a SOLD sign outside Marjories house this morning, so no cups of tea with her when you stay at our place. Keep Biking kid's. xx Kevinoskopy
